Service Description

Mixed Media & Collage - Wed PM (W1) Wednesdays 7:00-9:00pm, 7 sessions Starts January 7th (1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2,11, 2/25) No class 2/18 In this Mixed Media & Collage class we will explore a variety of materials, techniques and skills to create unique and dynamic art pieces. This class is as much about play and experimentation as it is about learning and discovering new mediums and forms of art. Learn to make your own collage material that we will then incorporate through a range of collage techniques to make beautiful, lively works of art. We will start the class by exploring mark making with paint and playing with mono prints and unconventional painting tools. From there, we’ll cut and use our painted papers to put together new color combinations and compositions. Basic paint, brushes and collage materials supplied. Students will be sent a recommended materials list for individual purchase prior to class start date.
