Introduction to Abstract Textured Art (Session II) Fridays 1-3pm, 4 sessions Session 2 Starts November 14th - 11/14, 11/21, 12/5, 12/12 Ready to add a whole new layer to your creativity? This 4-session course is designed for beginners who want to explore texture in a fun and easy way. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to play with new materials! Over four weeks, you’ll experiment with different tools and techniques to bring depth and dimension to your artwork: Session 1: Play with brushes and palette knives to create simple textured strokes. Session 2: Learn how to build surfaces using texture paste and everyday materials. Session 3: Mix it up with collage, fabric, and fun found objects. Session 4: Add color, finishing details, and take home your own textured masterpieces. By the end of the course, you’ll have a completed artwork (or 2) and the confidence to keep exploring texture in your creative projects. This is a relaxed, hands-on class perfect for anyone who wants to try something new in art. Basic paint and brushes supplied. Students will be sent a recommended materials list for individual purchase prior to class start date.
